From Me To You

Jamie Beck is an American photographer who presents his work on From Me To You, using animated images.

Usually a touch outdated, the gif – a compression format popular with graphic designers since the original launch of animations – is used here in a very interesting style: only part of the image is moving.

It results in some quasi-fantastical situations, with a deliciously retro and romantic New York.
