Yesterday evening the Musée de l’Homme hosted the unveiling of the Raf Simons autumn/winter 2009 collection. KanYe West was one of the guests, as he is a massive fan of the brand (the team assured me that he had once applied for an internship position at Raf!)

I approached him through his crowd of friends to ask if I could get a picture of his new ‘look’, and to congratulate him on his latest collection for Louis Vuitton. “Thanks… Your sneakers are so dope man!” was the response I got.

    At his feet, a small attaché case from a French luggage company, decorated with a Stephen Sprouse bandana. The great man opened it and took out an anti-static roll to clean his shirt. He then showed me the monogrammed interior of his trench coat and posed for the photo. Thank you KanYe.

        je les trouve ridicules pour ma part. On dirait qu’ils ont laissé tomber le bling et qu’ils ont pris des pièces de qualité au hasard chez Colette.

        Kanye et ses potes mettent des vêtements choisis au hasard. C’est juste très laid, très cheap, et on les sent mal à l’aise sur les photos.
