Tudor, part of the Rolex group, unveiled its new collection of watches – graphically embellished by the artist Ron Ferri – at its TNight soiree last month.

Ron Ferri, the artist from New York and friend of Andy Warhol, has designed the visual elements of the Tudor publicity campaign: Be Anything But Obvious. For this campaign he has reworked his photographs in ink, giving them a unique charm and making the watches stand out with an arty and elegant character.

This work, which was the focal point of the brand’s visual identity in 2009, is also expressed via a live performance at the TNights – a series of soirees organised in the capitals of Art and Design: Milan, Madrid, Berlin and finally Paris have become the artist’s canvas.

Ron Ferri used a 40-inch touch screen as a gigantic graphics tablet, and projected his work directly onto the façade of 104, the establishment where the Parisian soiree was held. The result was a beautiful work in keeping with the roving spirit of the watchmaker.
