Finir la journée en terrasse à Paris

As the day draws to a close, the million-dollar question hangs on the tip of everyone’s tongues: which outdoor terrace this evening?

Far from claiming to have ranked all the best Parisian restaurants, here is instead a small, non-exhaustive list of delightful outdoor eateries that you risk coming across us in. At the end of the day.

Le Ralph’s

The restaurant of the Saint Germain Ralph Lauren boutique has an additional charm: its shaded courtyard. Reservation necessary!

Ralph’s
173 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris, France

Le Mini Palais

-

Possibly our favourite of this selection, the terrace of the Mini Palais restaurant. Every day a champagne cocktail (Veuve Clicquot) accompanies a refreshing selection of nibbles, to enjoy to the sound of piano music (from 11pm).

Mini Palais
Avenue Winston Churchill – Pont Alexandre III, 75008 Paris

Le Saut du Loup

Already a household name, Saut du Loup’s packed outdoor terrace nevertheless offers one of the best views of Paris. Overlooking the Carrousel du Louvre gardens, we prefer to go there earlier in the evening, when the place is slightly calmer.

Le Saut du Loup
107 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris

Le Café Branly

Open only until 8pm, this restaurant with tranquil views over the Quai Branly museum gardens is a welcome release. Latecomers fill the Les Ombres terrace, a few steps away.

Café Branly
Musée du quai Branly 27 quai Branly, 75007 Paris (du mardi au dimanche)

Assaggio

Located at the rue Cambon Castille Hotel, the address is obviously popular with Chanel employees who merely have to cross the street. It would certainly be a shame to forego the elegant terrace, attended by a discreet clientele.

Assaggio
35, rue Cambon
75001 Paris

Noura Montparnasse

At Noura, one can drink tea in a real oasis of calm. The little-known interior garden is such a gem that we are in fact loathed to share this knowledge…!

Noura
121, boulevard du Montparnasse, 75006 Paris

Le Georges

Dominating the Parisian skyline, we are not the first to reveal this beloved haunt of Parisians and tourists with panoramic views from the terrace. Steadily becoming more and more posh, it is supposedly an inevitable evolution…

Le Georges
19 Rue Beaubourg, 75004 Paris
+33 1 44 78 47 99

L’Hôtel Amour

One of the rare places that you can spend a whole afternoon (and thus the end of the day) outside, sipping a glass of whatever takes your fancy without the waiters trying to push you out the door. The only thing we were missing was some sunshine…

Hôtel Amour
8 Rue de Navarin, 75009 Paris

La Terrasse Martini

From the beginning of the month until July 9th, you will find a lounge and terrace on the top floor of the Martini building on the Champs-Elysees where this drink is the centre of everyone’s attention. Cocktails based around the Martini (white, red, gold and prosecco) are served there and lessons are even given for free every evening, just sign up to their guest list.
