Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial

Moët & Chandon have launched their Rosé Impérial, which comes in a box bearing the name of Sophie Giavelli of Précieuses Gourmandes fame.

The box has a pink covering and a shiny black band on the outside, but also an extremely luxurious interior: lined with material from bygone days that has subtly been made trendy and specially designed for Moët & Chandon. The Rosé Impérial bottle comes nestled between two specially designed champagne flutes.

To further adorn the box, Moët & Chandon called upon Sophie Giavelli, the designer for “Précieuses Gourmandes”, to create a unique piece of confectionary. The result is a fantastic imitation jewel, retro and subtly discreet, that hangs from a pink thread and brings a sense of gourmet class to this exclusive box…

Benoît Gouez, the head of Moët & Chandon’s cellar, says: “The Rosé Impérial offers intense and engaging flavours: a vibrant bouquet of summer fruits, complemented by floral notes and a light peppery touch. Its palate is flamboyant, combining intensity and fullness: fleshy and juicy first and foremost, closing with a subtle note of mint.”

Box with sugared gem by Sophie Giavelli, on sale exclusively in the Grande Epicerie de Paris for 90€.
