Casio G-Shock G-100

Robust, matt black and outrageously heavy, the new Casio G-Shock G-100 seems to have come straight from a fighter pilot’s military kit.

The Casio designers have created a truly remarkable product by using a super-resistant, matt black coating for the display, similar to that found in fighter jets. The dials also imitate the speed settings for planes – the large one for “knots” and the small one for approaching the sound barrier, or “Mach”.

Finally, the watchstrap is designed by “Heritage Belt Company”, which has produced all the leather elements for British pilots’ military equipment. So it is aptly engraved “In the seats of the mighty”.
