3 Rooms Hotel by Azzedine Alaïa, Paris
In contrast to the luxury hotels, of which you will find many in Paris and keep popping up all over the city, this new project of Azzedine Alaïa seems to be bringing a more personal, intimate touch to the Parisian hotel industry.
Located in a 17th century building just a few yards from her couture workshops on 5 rue de Moussy, it is in the heart of the Marais that the designer has set up this hotel – if you can call it that – it consists of a space of 300 squared metres and is divided into three apartments.
All of it has obviously been thought up by this fantastic designer, from the décor of the rooms to even the food, which comes straight from the private kitchens of the Azzedine Alaïa workshops…
A true contemporary art gallery, you will find within the hotel pieces from designers such as Jean Prouve, Marc Newson and even Arne Jacobsen. The idea is to give off the atmosphere of a Parisian apartment while still having a dated and authentic stamp to it.
Minimalist yet still cosy, there are three different suites that you can rent out for one night or a short stay.
