Printemps, espace Luxe & Accessoires

The Hausmann Printemps store has unveiled its new Luxury Goods and Accessories space – an exceptional creation, spread over three floors, which encompasses Haute Joaillerie, leather goods, jewellery and fabric.

Devised by the American-Canadian duo Yabu Pushelberg, the space resembles a Parisian apartment in a monochrome colour scheme that is highlighted by the ubiquitous chrome – designed to recall the display cabinets from the shop’s early days.

Each room has its own theme, created by a collection of sculptures, paintings and photos.

We were also struck by the remarkable work surrounding the central, 15m high nave – hanging compositions from Pascale Girardin that draw their inspiration from the mosaics of the Charras Rotunda, as well as the monumental sculpture by Swada Hirotoshi.

The final touch of class is provided by the Co-Jean restaurant on the ground floor.
