Tag Heuer Night Vision Panorama

Specially designed for racing drivers, these Panorama Night Vision glasses from Tag Heuer offer unrivalled comfort in the domain of night vision.

Did you know that we all suffer from a natural short-sightedness as soon as the sun sets? Me neither. We lose 0,25 per eye, and have more trouble gauging distance and recognising certain colours.

Teamed with Audi during the 24 Heures du Mans car race, Tag Heuer has created these unique glasses, optimizing them according to the champions’ needs. Driving all night long (at more than 300 km/h) is definitely safer: the contrast is sharper and the light at its best.

The tinted yellow lenses are joined together and offer a panoramic vision while reducing the visual fatigue that accompanies night-time driving. They are obviously not meant for daytime use.

Sceptical at first, I tested the glasses over 3 weeks (on a Vespa in Paris). Even if I am not a fan of the look, I must admit they were quite discreet and the smooth, flexible structure means they fit very easily under a helmet (Ruby).

In dimly lit streets, headlights are certainly less blinding and you feel as though your vision has been given a photoshop makeover!
