Herschel, or Herschel Supply Co. to be more precise, is a high-quality Canadian accessory and leatherwear brand.
The Herschel tale begins at the start of the twentieth century in Scotland, where Peter Alexander Cormack and his wife are preparing to set sail for Canada.
They move deep into the hills of Herschel (a remote dwelling of only 30 inhabitants), where they set about manufacturing barrels. A hundred years later, their great grandchildren take hold of the company and set about designing bags inspired by the American hiking and mountaineering traditions.
