Moncler

In just a few years, Moncler has gone from being quite an unknown sportswear brand to an international label that we can’t get enough of. With the genius Thom Browne as the designer since 2009, the ‘Gamme Bleu’ collection has seen so much success and was quite a hit at the Milan Fashion week.
The Moncler empire goes all the way back to 1952, when René Ramillon first decided to create a skiwear range. The name of the brand comes from the town where the idea was first thought up : Monestier-de-Clermont, near Grenoble. The legendary Moncler anoraks have quickly spread all over Europe.
After some successful collaborations with Alessandra Facchinetti and Giambattista Valli for the ‘Gamme Rouge’ collection, Moncler released the new ‘Gamme Bleu’ collection, a line of ready-to-wear menswear designed by the Amercian Thom Browne.
And the collection has been so popular, due to its sharp, modern and unusual style. Each of the different collections is based around a different sport. Thom Browne has put his own stamp on classic male sportswear and his creations are always very fashion forward.
