Pendleton Woolen Mills
Pendleton is an American clothes and accessories brand, which is known for its hardwearing, comfortable and classic work wear.
Created in 1863, the Pendleton brand started in a town with the very same name (in Oregon), where Charles Pleasant Bishop bought out an old woollen factory that used to make quilts for the native Indians of the region. It is from these Navajo Indians that Pendleton took inspiration when developing their unique patterns for their creations.
From there, the Pendleton brand started to produce knitwear and clothing, which are long lasting and of a very high quality. The label only really started to get famous at the end of the 50’s.
Today, Pendleton is very much up there on the fashion scene, and has been working together with Opening Ceremony for the past few seasons.
