Louis Vuitton Classic Awards

The Louis Vuitton Classic Awards have this year honoured 2 timeless models that have had a lasting impact on the car industry.

The Louis Vuitton Classic Concours Award was awarded to the Talbot – Lago Super Sport T150C concept car whose body was made by Figoni and Falaschi in 1938. Designed by Joseph Figoni, the model was one of the first of its era to experiment with aerodynamics, the reason behind its nickname, “Teardrop.”

It was the Jaguar team that received the Louis Vuitton Classic Concept Award for the innovative design, but above all engineering, of their C-X75 design.

Louis Vuitton created its first ever item of luggage for the car in 1897, a piece that quickly won over globe-trotters with its airtight and waterproof design. Since then, the brand has kitted out a whole variety of expeditions and works in association with the world’s most elegant rallies.
