Bibliothèque Opus Incertum
The American designer Sean Yoo has designed this bookcase after travelling to Italy, where he discovered stone walls in the opus incertum style – a construction technique widely used in the final centuries of the Roman republic that involved arranging irregularly-shaped rocks inside a concrete-style structure.
Available in expanded polypropylene moulded under pressure into a 1m wide block. It is possible to arrange each module to suit your needs as each one only weighs 5kg.
