The designer Hubert de Givenchy puts his name to this magnificent Yule log from Lenôtre, which is delightfully flanked by two shining stag heads made entirely of crystallised sugar. The centre consists of moist chocolate biscuit, crunchy dried fruit and chunks of caramel, creamy dark chocolate and perfect milk chocolate with a hint of Earl Grey tea, all covered in a light dusting of 22-carat gold.
