Mumm & Mike Horn: les dîners de l'extrême

After their first voyage to Greenland (in July 2008) and a dinner orchestrated by the two-starred chef, Sylvestre Wahid, on an iceberg floating in the middle of the Sermilik fjord, the champagne house G.H. MUMM and the adventurer Mike Horn are at it again. This time they are in Antarctica alongside Gérard Boyer, one of just a handful of chefs with three Michelin stars, following in the wake of Commander Charcot whose house had, a century earlier, supported his expedition.
Mumm has therefore decided to accompany the adventurer on his round-the-world voyage, the celebratory Pangaea expedition, by organising seven gastronomic dinners that will represent seven key stages of the journey.
This dinner, which took place on 27 October 2008 in Charcot bay, Antarctica (63°43’44.31’’ south, 59°23’07.64’’ west), followed the first that occurred at Sermilik fjord, Greenland, 8 July.
