We have already given you several reports on the Ateliers Ruby helmets, which represent the perfect harmony between style and functionality.

This time we go into detail about the Pavillon Shibuya model, the flagship helmet that sparked a cult following.

The first thing you notice is the extreme care that has gone into every detail. From the shopping bag down to the words used in the documentation, this attention to detail really proves that we are in the presence of a luxury item.

The blood-red leather box emblazoned with the Ruby logo surrounds and protects the helmet thanks to high-density packing foam. Once the dust bag has been removed the helmet is revealed, and is just as painstakingly detailed as the packaging; it’s quite simply magnificent, with a beautiful multicoloured finish.

The product exudes quality, almost to the point of fussiness. Every detail is important, down to the presence of a back pocket that holds a card with the contact details of the owner, in case of accident.

At 570€ it is more than twice as expensive as a traditional, high-quality helmet, and is clearly aimed at an exacting client, who sees his scooter/bike as something more than a means of transport. One very important detail: the helmet is scheduled for a makeover. The Lady Ruby angel painted onto the interior (vented) leather padding wishes you bon voyage, don’t miss it!
