Christian Louboutin Homme (Eté 2011)
This summer, Christian Louboutin has come up with variations of the famous “Rollerboy” and two new models, which have attracted our attention: the “Biarritz” and the “Daddy”.
You were very vocal in your feelings, both positive and negative, for the sneakers Spacer,so I have every faith that the new “Rollerboy spike” models will divide opinions once again!
Maintaining the chic yet cheeky feel of the original model, these new designs add more or less subtle embellishments: silver sequins, gold studs on leopard print and “all black everything” which is our favourite.
The more discreet “Biarritz” model is a hybrid shoe: a form of deck-shoe, with a trainer sole and moccasin details. Because according to Christian, “A true yachtsman wouldn’t be caught in typical boat shoes”.
Finally, the last model, which is just as interesting: the handsome “Daddy”. In chestnut corduroy, it incorporates a surprising finish in the form of an oversized red tassel, complete with matching border.
