Mugler + Nicola Formichetti + Rick Genest

Here are the first pictures of Mugler’s winter collection, by Nicola Formichetti. If there was ever a brand that had people talking about it during the last Men’s Fashion Week… it’s Mugler (which has lost Thierry by the way).

After several long, lethargic years, the fashion house called upon the creative genius of 33-year-old Nicola Formichetti, the Italian-Japanese artistic director of Uniqlo, also known for his work at Japanese Men’s Vogue and as Lady Gaga’s artistic adviser. Quite a CV.
For this campaign, Nicola recruited the help of Rick Genest, better known on the Web as Zombie Boy. Spotted on facebook, he adds a ghostly edge to Mugler’s sombre collection with his completely tattooed body, which is simply fascinating to look at.

Needless to say, we love it!
