Steve McQueen & Persol 714 sunglasses

Persol has chosen to honour Steve McQueen with a one-off, limited edition pair of their iconic, folding 714 sunglasses.

First made in Italy in 1968, the 714 sunglasses were made famous when McQueen wore them in “The Thomas Crown Affair” and “The Getaway.”
Perfect for driving, the lenses are made from special-focus, blue-tinted glass that prevents the sun’s rays from being reflected into the driver’s eyes by the bonnet.

10,000 pairs of these limited edition sunglasses will be available from October.
