Vacheron Constantin – Quai de l'Ile

Vacheron Constantin presents its new collection, the Quai de l’Ile – the first timepiece that can be customized to suit the client’s wishes.
Why the name? The Quai de l’Ile has been the historical address of Vacheron Constantin since the 19th century. It’s François Constantin who requested the construction of a building at this address in order to set up the brand in the prestige watch making district of Geneva.
The Quai de l’Ile expresses simultaneously the brand’s 250-year history, and recent innovations such as new anti-counterfeiting technologies.

Under the sapphire crystal is a transparent film engraved with UV markings by the same company that makes Swiss passports, making it easy to identify the watch’s authenticity. Micro-symbols are also engraved on the glass, such as the brand’s emblem, the Maltese cross.
As for the mechanism, you have two choices. Both are self-winding, but the first (2460QH calibre) shows the date on a disc, whereas the second (2475 SC/1 calibre) shows the day, date and power reserve with hands.

It’s the latter that can be personalised. The client has the choice of how to combine the palladium, rose gold and titanium, giving more than 400 possible combinations. If that isn’t enough, you can also have your name engraved on the back.
Personalise yours on this magnificent site.
